Virry Academy is a playful, cutting edge learning tool for children. You probably would not even imagine that these things can be done in Virry:

Progress from being an Intern of Virry Academy to the Head of Meerkats, Minister of Rhinos or President of the Council of the Elephants by collecting awesome badges. Badges are awarded for playing Interactive games, watching live cameras and making screenshots as a real wildlife photographer, spinning around in 360/VR videos, creating and showing your friends best moments from live video-library covering a wide range of species.
Wildlife is not abstract anymore as Virry makes wild animals your close friends. Not every scientist can boast of such a powerful tool to watch wild species every day.

Special Earth Day update of Virry. 3 New amazing 360/VR experiences with the real African animals filmed in UNESCO heritage conservancy in Kenya - LEWA Wildlife Conservancy. Use your cardboard glasses to meet vervets, lioness and leopard closely! On the iPad it's really cool to spin around, raise it up and down to see the African sky and texture of the ground the animals walk on every day. The voiceover will inform you about the animals with a lot of the animals being endangered. Learn more about them, see their beauty and enjoy their presence and know how to save them!

When you watch live stream, you’ll notice an exciting addition. At the bottom of the screen is a “crawl roll.” Interesting information about the animal you are watching slowly moves from right to left, across the screen. You can freeze the crawl roll by tapping once, right on the line or hide it by tapping any place of the screen but the line.
Reading this together with your child is a great way to help beginner readers link text with visual material, an important skill for schoolwork and beyond.

Have a restful moment with your child and watch ‘Best Moments’ from our live stream captured in little bitesize clips. Tap heart if you like one of them and start making your very own Virry collection of best moments. What for? To find them quickly when friends or grandma come over!

- 3 new high definition live cameras installed at the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust’s magnificent Park. 2 cameras are with the orang-utans family, including a cute and curious orangutan baby, who is taken care of by his protective mother. Orang-utans’ amazing enclosure features two green islands with a great rope park. Children will get a unique chance to observe the life of critically endangered Sumatran orang-utans and see what similarities they share with human beings.
The third camera oversees the flamingo pond. You will be absolutely amazed by how beautiful, funny and sociable these birds are, as well as watch who else flies over to have lunch by the pond.
