About Vishnu Sahastranam
The Vishnu Sahastranama ("the thousand names of Vishnu") is a list of 1,000 names (sahastranama) of Vishnu, the supreme god of Hindus (Vaishnavs). It is also one of the most sacred and commonly chanted stotras in Hinduism. The Vishnu sahasranama is found in the Mahabharata. Each name eulogizes one of His countless great attributes.
According to the epic Mahabharata, the names were handed down to Yudhisthira by the famous warrior Bhishma who was on his death bed at the battle of Kurukshetra.

In the previous versions, we added a facility to track your recitals. In the new version now, you will be able to make this public letting other devotees know that you completed say 108 chantings, or even better 1,00,000 chantings. You will also know how others are meditating by looking up the leaderboard.
