About VisionTV UK
VisionTV is a new free to air entertainment portal available on connected Freeview, channel 244, desktop, smart phones and tablets bringing a wide variety of international channels to communities all over the UK.
Viewers interested in news, culture and lifestyle from China can watch CCTV News and BON TV; a wide range of Ethnic-based TV channels are covered as well –TV/C News focuses on news, issues and entertainment from across the African continent, Ben TV caters for family viewing while Hellenic provides music, culture and entertainment programming for the Greek community. Sports fans can get their fix watching hot live debate show Sports Tonight.
Programmes centred around religion are also featured on VisionTV™: the Islam Channel is an lifestyle programme that offers discourse on the Islam religion, while 24-hour Islamic channels Peace TV and Peace Urdu debate the hot issues of the day and spiritual guidance. The GOD channel caters for a Christian audience.
VisionTV was launched on Freeview channel 244 in November 2014. In September 2015 the service became available on many popular platforms.
