Important upgrade to our “Non-Destructive Zoom” feature. Smoother live camera animation when you tap the + button at top of zoom slider or - button at bottom for smooth zoom. Set Zoom Speed on Settings View from as fast as 2 seconds (crash zoom) to as slow as 64 seconds for an extremely slow “Godfather style” slow zoom out or in. Zooms applied while recording are never permarnent in Vizzywig and are only applied at final export. Export clip without zooms from edit view timeline and re-import to remove zooms completely or load both the zoomed version and non-zoomed version with different filters applied (duplicate clip) into a single multi-clip to switch between both versions for various effects.

Official public release of our “Rapid Takes” Feature within Multi-Clip now finally out of beta. We know users love our remote multi-camera capabilities but we realize not everyone has more than one iOS device. In fact, even on some traditional film sets, only one camera is used with multiple setups for each scene. To use this feature, simply select any clip on the Edit View as your “Take One” then tap the small icon underneath-right and choose “Convert to Mult-Clip”. In seconds, you will see the same “Edit Switching” screen used to edit remote multi-camera recordings. Next just tap the + button and record a new clip using one of four preview options to record additional takes of the same timed scene from different angles or import a clip from your media library. Use the latency offset to line takes up and then tap Play to perform live-switching across your takes. Simply double tap the take/angle thumbnails to switch between angles to quickly create your final scene edit. Repeat the process for additional scenes and tap the Multi button on any clip to edit any scene at any time. Tap the audio button upper left to choose which clip(s) will carry the audio for your scene.

Official release of World’s first “Import Transforms” feature. On Load Media View, once you have selected a video clip, tap the small scissors icon to load your clip into the new “transform keyframes” screen. Use pinch and drag gestures to scale, rotate and pan your clip and set a keyframe. Then drag the playhead to another point and scale, pan or rotate again. Create as many keyframes as you want by dragging the playhead and transforming again. Tap the white line between keyframes to change to an arrow which will yield smooth animation between those two keyframes or leave the line straight for a jump cut effect. NEW FULL-SCREEN GRID EDITING VIEW
New Grid View for tap+hold drag and drop rearrangement of clips in longer timelines. Tap the new grid icon on main camera view or edit view.
