About WallofDiabetes

Wall of Diabetes is a proprietary online tool developed by RxPrism Health Systems Pvt. Ltd. This tool combines the benefits of a mobile application (app) at the frontend with an online platform at the backend for physicians to post short messages on diabetes, and thereby help diabetic patients in their fight against the dreaded disease.

Accessibility:
While anyone can download and use the Wall of Diabetes app, this app is particularly useful for diabetic patients, and physicians and caregivers involved in the care of diabetes.

A physician can download and install the app on his/her mobile device. While logging in for the first time, a physician must provide his/her identification number. He/she can provide his contact details if he/she wishes to allow interested patients to contact him/her.
A patient can access the online platform from any personal computer. He/she can also download the app and declare himself/herself as a patient to access the platform on his/her mobile device.

Physicians can:
Post short and frequent messages on diabetes along with selfies and signatures.
Short messages (30 characters) are easy to post and solicit quick and lasting attention.
Frequent messages enable deeper coverage on wider range of topics.
Selfies and signatures help identify the person behind the messages and establish a personal touch.
Share his/her contact details allowing interested patients to contact him/her.
Physicians can post as many messages as he/she would like on this platform. Ideal scenarios would be when a physician wishes to share:
A line or two about how he/she saved his/her patient from the brink of amputating a leg simply through timely medication, proper diet, and exercise, along with a selfie showing the saver and the saved sharing the happy moment!
Successful and courageous journeys of diabetic patients and caregivers
The perfect diabetic diet
A time-tested diabetic exercise regimen
An achievement or an award that he/she received for his/her work in the field of diabetes
A motivational message to diabetic patients
Inauguration of his/her new clinic
A new drug or a treatment methodology that has proven to be beneficial

Patients can:
View all messages posted by the physicians on a single screen
Sort the messages by latest- or oldest-message-first
View the messages posted by local (nearby) physicians on a map
View the messages by date or region (on a map)
Important Note
The Wall of Diabetes app is completely free without any in-app purchases.
The app users must be connected to the Internet while using the app.
