The way you learn a city depends on who will be the guide. wayme involves in production process not only tour guides: it's can be artists, architects, engineers, gourmets, locals. Such approach helps to explore city like something complex and polyhedral.
You will be able to learn a lot more information about the city. More unusual, extraordinary information. Sometimes it can be just interesting stories from urbanites lives, sometimes it can be urban legends and historical routes. Very often, we learn only a hundredth part of what really is in the city. Ciao! My name is Luciano, and I work in one of the Roman pastry shops. Today we will walk along an ancient and very fashionable street of Rome. We will look at the beauty, and talk about food (because the Roman food is so unique!) And, most important, at the end of the walk I will show you the place where Rome’s delicious ice cream will be waiting for us. The best Italian ice cream is, certainly, Gelato. I like it as much as candied fruits and marzipans. It’s time to go to in search of Gelato!

I study at the Technical University of Munich and enjoy a simple but very bright life of a European student - travelings, music festivals, free time with friends at the spaces of relaxed Munich.
I live in the capital of Bavaria for several years, and exploration of the city, like many other tourists, I started with museums. In Munich, everything is very comfortable for life. And the museum culture is also: most of the cool museums are very close to each other. I will gladly show you the fantastic places in the Munich Area of arts! But everyone has heard about it only as an impersonal fact, behind which, in real, the unusual story hides. And, also, very few people know what kind of death Jane Stanford had. And the fact, that she had already lost her husband.

A new Lviv route found us as unexpectedly as the May holidays. But it’s even better, because when good things happen unexpectedly - it’s much nicer than waiting and counting the minutes.
Today we want to present you a new route for Lviv from our already permanent author-traveller-explorer Natalia Mikhalchenko. This time, Natalia will show you the Middle Lviv and tell his legends. Walking around Lviv center you can always find something new. Something seems so familiar, but suddenly - what is the feeling? It seems like everything is simple: a small street of the old town center, but you take a step to the side and (wow!) - a lot of miracles and surprises.
In this walk Natalia will show the monument to the “horse”, the space of ideas, the car on the roof of the house, the street of the million names, the lion who has coffee beans in his mane, the world-famous artist, the heavenly staircase, the great-grandmother of the light bulb, the giant who carried Christ, the centaur, the fairy, the lions of Lviv love, the brave soldier, the beer navel, and even the place for kisses! Tremors or a big launch in a new city.
January 4, 2018. The whole planet is cheerfully celebrating the New Year, no one is following the news. But suddenly an unprecedented thing happened... We know that sometimes our updates get a big response, but, as today, has never happened before. wayme has launched In California, and on the same day, there is a big earthquake. We officially declare that we are not involved in this event and ask to remain calm: everything is fine.
But let’s leave jokes aside. Today we have a truly remarkable event: the launch of wayme in a new city. Not even just in a city, but on a new continent! This time our first discovery is the heart of California and Silicon Valley: Palo Alto. In the suburbs of this city, you can find the famous Stanford University. The dream of millions of applicants, California research center, alma mater for 50 Nobel laureates and the source of great companies founders (Google, Hewlett-Packard, Nike, Sun Microsystems, Yahoo). The motto of the university is “The wind of freedom blows”. And not in vain. Walking a picturesque green campus, you realize that The Wind of freedom really blows here. And from this walk you can also find out:
- about the history of the University’s creation by a tycoon, industrialist, politician, and governor of California Leland Stanford;
- about the traditional kissing party “Full Moon on the Quad”;
- which of the US presidents were studying here;

We constantly think about you, our favorite users, and on such days we want to present something pleasant and warm for you. The fresh update 0.9.9 will please your iPhones, especially those that have already been updated to iOS 11. With this update, we hope your phone will become more soulful and warm in these dull days.
And here is what we have prepared for you:

- please welcome the new font Oswald;
- design updates: on-tour screen, maps, and a few other pleasant little things;
- fixed bug with the progress indicator of route downloading;
- improved map centering;
- other minor fixes and improvements.

Today we are launching a new, already 7th route in Dnipro (Ukraine) and this time its author is a professional architect and a vinyl collector Yuri Bazarenko. His walk is called the “Collector’s Rote. Part 1". It passes through the most unusual markets and fairs of the Dnipro. Yuri will show where junk collectors, philatelists, bonists, and numismatists work. And he will tell you a secret how to find the markets that hide not only in space but also in time.
You will not believe, but being a collector is not an easy. So much to know, understand a lot of things and even see the inner essence. It is important to understand their true value, to find, to save lost valuables. Sometimes, in so strange places that you can’t even believe. But how to evaluate: what’s valuable and what’s not? While someone is walking around Berlin, we are sitting in the Dnipro and working on new updates. And that’s what we’ve managed to add in such a short period:
1) “The Legends of the Charles Bridge” in Prague is also in English from now;
2) Fixed the problem when due to an Internet connection failure, the downloaded audio couldn’t be played;
3) Fixed a rare error: a route doesn’t start from any point (if you select “start from the nearest point”);
4) Other fixes and improvements that will improve your experience of using the app.
