- To add widgets to your Home Screen: Tap and hold on an empty area of the Home Screen and enter the Edit Home Screen mode (jiggle mode) > Tap the + button at the top corner > Explore the WeekCal widgets in the Widget Gallery and add them to your Home Screen for easy access. iOS 11 is out and so is an update to your favorite calendar application! We have been busy testing Week Calendar on the latest iOS and making sure that it stays reliable and fast.
That's not it. With this version, we are introducing a brand new iMessage app! The app can be used to share your upcoming and recently viewed events with individuals and groups without leaving iMessage. They don't even have to be a Week Calendar user to be able to receive shared events (although it is better if they are users!).
Also in this version:
• fixes an issue that prevented some very rare kind of events from being deleted
• fixes an issue with the custom Move event tool that caused it to be misaligned
• improves location handling while editing and viewing events
• adds major improvements to the event details view - map is bigger, tappable, and has better UI.
• fixes a rare crash while viewing events in agenda view
• fixes an issue where the map in event details might sometimes point to a different location
