About wevew - we view stuff together
wevew shares your photos and videos and mirrors your screens so you and your friends can experience them together. You don’t need mobile service or a WiFi network to share. No matter where you are, wevew can create your own network—it’s private and secure.
When you are out with your friends and everyone wants to get that picture, take it with wevew. Your photos are instantly shared with everyone in your network.
Open wevew and hold your iPhone close to another for just a couple seconds. wevew senses the distance and creates a lasting connection. Share your photo and your friends can see and interact with your picture. Share your video and play it--it plays in sync on your friends' iPhones.
After you share your photo or video, it’s still yours. Allow your friends to save it or not. When you are done sharing, you can unshare your it. If you close wevew and walk away, your photos are unshared automatically in about 15 minutes.
wevew asks for permissions to access your location, photos, and camera. We only use Location Services to see how far you are from your friends. We don’t do anything with your actual location. Photos permissions lets the app share your pictures and save ones you have received. Same when you try to take a picture. We ask for permission to use the Camera.

• This is our biggest language update ever. Added support for German, Greek, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Turkish. That adds to English, French, Spanish, and Italian that we already have.
• Removed the “shake for help” feature. This makes it easier to dance at wevew parties. You can still get help from the expanded Sharing button on the bottom left of the screen.

In Settings > wevew, tap Proximity. Choose “Use Passcode instead of distance.” Now, when you are near another wevewer, tap the Connections button (bottom right). Your screen will show you your passcode. Your friends screen will prompt for your passcode. Enter it there and you will connect. wevew remembers your friend so you won’t need the passcode again.
This release contain a crash fix for iOS 9 devices and additional stability improvements.

• We also bring you a small change in how we display messages in the app. If you tap fast and a bunch of messages pop up, the earlier ones slide out of the way. We also changed the color of the message windows.

This version is dedicated to Nathalie who left us a message with no text. What happened? Is everything OK?
• In 3.3.3 we made lots of improvements to how we handle memory. Remember the last time you tried to share all of those photos from your trip and the app bombed out after 50 photos? And forget about sharing your panoramas. Sure they are fantastic, but inside your iPhone they are memory hungry monsters that just want more, more, more! Anyway, that is much better now.
• Made improvements to 3D touch support on the Sharing and Connections buttons (those buttons on the bottom of the screen). It’s still not perfect, but it's better. If you want to go back to the way things were, go to Settings > wevew and turn off 3D Touch.
• We lost and then found the Play button. On iOS 10 the background color wouldn’t show. The button was there, you just couldn’t see it. Through the power of technology, you can now see it.
• We also made a couple tweaks to the photo collection at the top of the screen. No one will notice. Sad face.
