About WINK+

Earn points with WINK+ while you TRAVEL, SCAN, and PLAY. Islandwide.

1. TRAVEL - Earn points when you ride SMRT Trains and while driving via your ERP transactions.

2. SCAN - Look for and scan WINK+ QR codes found in our transport and retail network.

3. PLAY - Participate in WINK+ campaigns for more rewards.

Our new feature, WINK GATES, requires background location to be enabled. When users are in range of WINK GATES, they will be able to get points and rewards specific to that particular location.

With the app running in the background, users can walk or drive to WINK GATES. When users are within the geofenced range, a push notification will be triggered and users will be able to get the location rewards.

We do not collect location data when the app is closed or not in use. Background location is used for geofencing when the app is running in the background.

We check location in as battery-friendly a way as possible. Note, however, that continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.
