Read and respond to WhatsApp messages on your Apple Watch with WristChat.
WhatsApp offers no native Apple Watch app, WristChat aims to plug that gap! With its unique integration with WristBoard, you can even type messages using a full keyboard on your Apple Watch.
Just like WhatsApp Web, setup is done through simply scanning a QR Code and you’ll have instant access to all of your private and group chat messages!

MESSAGES
Quickly get access to all of your WhatsApp messages from the convenience of your Apple Watch with no need to take your iPhone out!
RESPOND
WristChat makes it quick & easy to respond to incoming WhatsApp messages directly from your wrist. Simply tap the reply button and you’ll be able to use standard Apple Watch input methods to respond.
KEYBOARD
If you’re not a fan of Scribble or Voice Dictation, WristChat provides a unique integration with the WristBoard keyboard app, developed specifically for Apple Watch.
WristBoard supports multiple languages, layouts, autocorrect, swipe typing and much more! You’ll be able to type WhatsApp messages in no time!
READ RECEIPTS
Know when your message is pending, sent, delivered or read just like WhatsApp! You'll see a small indicator below your messages so you know whether your message has reached the recipient.
HIDE MESSAGES
New in watchOS 8, WristChat supports hiding message contents when your wrist is down on Apple Watch models with the Always-on-Display.
CHAT BUBBLES
Customize the color of your chat bubbles from over 10 supported colors.
GROUP CHATS
As well as supporting individual chats, there’s full support for chatting in groups too!

In this update:
- Implemented a workaround to fix a bug that causes the app to get stuck on "Connecting…". Please note this is a result of the WhatsApp Multi-Device Beta and some issues may still remain, however it should work properly in most cases now. Please email support@adamfoot.dev if you are facing issues still. I will be continuing to look into the issue as a priority.
- Added a Reload button to the message loading alert that when pressed can refresh WhatsApp and make it start working again.
- Other bug fixes & improvements.
