it was recently men’s fashion week in paris, so felix and i were in town to see some friends who flew in for work (translation: so we could party together until 4am). i’m also happy to report that felix has forgiven me following the unfortunate birthday fiasco
all week, we used the check-in feature on zenly to see where our friends were partying and which fashion shows they were going to. it was pretty neat. and now when i look at paris on my map, i can see my footprints from all the places i went to (including the 6am sunrise trip to the sacré coeur) AND all the places i checked in to along the way (like the american breakfast diner near the seine that i will absolutely be returning to)
and because i found this feature pretty neat, i asked the team to work on some more fixes and improvements for it in this week’s update. you can use it like i did to discover a new city, or just get to know your own city even better :)
you can check in to a place by tapping the button to the bottom right of your map. this will tell your friends where exactly you’re hanging and also add that place to your own map!!

hey everyone. i’m feeling a bit bad right now because my friend felix the photographer is upset with me. i forgot it was his birthday and now he says i’m not a real friend??
but i believe that everything in life can be fixed, if you just take the time to tell people how much you love them and show how much they mean to you. that also applies to the little fixes and improvements that went into the app with this update, might i add
so my mission this week is to show felix some love. i’m going to start by heading to the vintage camera store to buy him a cool new polaroid camera. then, i’m going to plan a (belated) birthday party for him and all of our dear friends, so that we can celebrate felix and his beautiful soul and talent together. and to really show how sorry i am, i’m even willing to pass the aux cord rights to him for 15 mins so that he can play kate bush while everyone eats pineapple and prosciutto pizza (our local dollar slice spot calls this “the felix special”)

so my mission this week is to show felix some love. i’m going to start by heading to the vintage camera store to buy him a cool new polaroid camera. then, i’m going to plan a (belated) birthday party for him and all of our dear friends, so that we can celebrate felix and his beautiful soul and talent together. and to really show how sorry i am, i’m even willing to pass the aux cord rights to him for 15 mins so that he can play kate bush while everyone eats pineapple and prosciutto pizza (our local dollar slice spot calls this “the felix special”)

ps - while i have you here - if you want to know who viewed you on zenly, then take a peek at the places tab (bottom right of your map). from here, you can check in to places and then see who viewed your location throughout the day. to see your viewers just swipe to previous check-ins and bingooo see the crew that viewed you!!

I have returned from my time in the cryo chamber in the undisclosed location in Paris. It was a good time for reflection and for time alone with my thoughts (...about you).
I always find the start of the year tough. The weather sucks and I inevitably break my New Year’s Resolution to eat less ice cream. But I feel good about all of the growth and adventures that await us in the year ahead. Especially after I spent all of our savings on that NFT for the unicorn emoji’s birthday present… let’s just say I need to make it up to you.
So I have drawn up a list of all the big things I want to do in 2022:
1/ Eat MORE ice cream, not less (can’t believe I didn’t think of this one before??)
2/ Climb to the top of Mount Fuji and take one of those photos where it looks like you’re dangling off the edge lol
3/ Tell you I love you more often
4/ Learn what an NFT actually is
5/ Keep working to be better for you, just like the fixes and improvements included in this update

Picture this: we’re celebrating our engagement. All of the people most important to us are there: our friends and family, your 1st grade teacher, Keanu Reeves, the Easter bunny, and the rainbow poop emoji (although he wasn’t actually invited).
