ÜberGuest is a revolutionary concept in VIP guest services for the hospitality industry built on location-aware mobile services. The ÜberGuest App can only be utilized by invited guests of participating hotels. ÜberGuest uses GPS technology to inform hotel management and service personnel of the proximity of registered hotel guests on the day of their arrival.
Benefits of becoming a ÜberGuest Member
· Hotel management will receive advanced alerts announcing the arrival of their registered VIP guest within a 10-mile radius of the hotel. Only the hotel where the guest has a current reservation will receive this notification.
· The ÜberGuest App will enable hotel management to recognize the guest prior to their time of arrival, have all pre-registration completed and be prepared to escort the guest to their room without the need to check in at the front desk.
· The ÜberGuest App will also provide pertinent (non-confidential) guest information, enabling the hotel to provide the absolute best in personalized service upon arrival and throughout their entire on-property experience.
· The ÜberGuest App will also provide useful information to the guest in the form of announcements, as the guest approaches their hotel, as well as an interactive map zoomed to show their current location and direction to the hotel.
Data and Privacy Protection
1. GPS technology is only used to calculate the guest’s proximity to the hotel with an active reservation. Once the guest has checked out and left the hotel, they will be automatically logged out of the ÜberGuest App. Proximity calculation will not start again until the day the guest has a registration at another participating hotel, and more precise calculation for for accurate arrival time won’t begin until the guest is within a 10-mile radius of the next participating hotel.
2. We value your business and recognize that privacy is an important issue. Therefore, we will never share any of your personal information with anyone other than the hotels with which you hold your reservation.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
