所谓河洛之法，天干取其纳甲之数：壬甲纳于乾为六数，乙癸纳于坤为二数，庚纳于震为三数，辛纳于巽为四数，丙纳于艮为八数，已纳于离为九数，戊纳于坎为一数，丁纳于兑为七数；地支则取先天八卦合化之数：北方亥子一六数，东方寅卯三八数，南方已午二七数，西方申西四九数，四维辰戌丑未五十数；然后单数相加总和为天数，双数相加总和为地数，再与天数二十五、地数三十相较阴阳二数之多少以分强弱；而后据天地二数之馀数荡成卦象，并视其卦象中的元气、化工如何，找元堂，再以元堂为起点，行大运，变小运，相互较量，则吉凶祸福显矣。
