红光山旅游景区位于乌鲁木齐市东北部，占地面积10000亩，是新疆俊发集团斥资10亿余元、历经数十载打造而成的集佛教文化、生态观光、休闲度假、运动娱乐和科研教育为一体的国家AAAA级旅游景区。目前正在创建国家AAAAA级旅游景区。
红光山山脊蜿蜒，宛如一条巨龙横卧于乌鲁木齐市东北部，背靠东天山主峰——博格达峰，面朝乌鲁木齐河(今河滩快速路)。红光山绿荫如盖，山坡上花、草、树木、葡萄架错落有致，漫山遍野苍翠欲滴、沁人心脾。
