“蜕变"——当代旗袍展，是由上海市历史博物馆与上海国际时尚联合会联合策划，旨在展现海派旗袍的在城市生活中的印迹，探讨海派旗袍的精神所在与城市精神的关系。该展览以历博2012年与2013年名为“衣袭华美——百年旗袍的前世今生”展览为蓝本，重点落在邀请本土知名时装设计师运用旗袍文化元素来创作21世纪的新海派旗袍，演绎海派旗袍不断追求变化的精神，体现海派旗袍的当代性与城市性。运用旗袍文化元素来创作21世纪的新海派旗袍，演绎海派旗袍不断追求变化的精神，体现海派旗袍的当代性与城市性。
