从你睁开眼的那一天起，四周就一直是灰蒙蒙的，永远的活动中心就是山洞中央那熊熊燃烧的篝火。从篝火望过去，远远的有一个模糊的亮点。威武强壮的父亲每天早上带着部落的勇士从那里消失，不知多久后又会突然从那个亮点中出现，有时候带回来的是硕大的野兽，部落所有人会围着篝火尽情舞蹈，欢庆丰收。有时候，父亲带回来的却只有几粒干瘪的树果和一身的冰霜。每当我好奇地想去探索光亮外的世界，母亲总是紧紧的抓住我，轻声告诉我说“那是一个冰雪覆盖的世界，只有经过试炼的勇士才能在严寒中探险归来。”
