There was a viral tweet about an older couple, who was almost in tears, at a grocery store parking lot, afraid to go in. They waited and asked for help from a kind young woman who took their shopping list and money through a crack in the window, purchased the groceries, and placed them in their trunk.

A buying processes that includes windows closed, trunk pickup, from a restaurant also selling groceries, would be a less stressful solution.
