Announcing AllTrails 10.0 with translations!
• AllTrails is now available in Spanish, French, and German. And we’re adding thousands of new trails every month - especially across Europe and Latin America.
• Translations will happen automatically if your phone is set to a supported language
• PLEASE NOTE: when opening this version of AllTrails for the first time, it’s best to have a strong data connection so we can sync your translated content

After recording a hike on a trail that we don’t have in AllTrails, please submit it as a new trail for our team to review. When you do, you can now suggest an official name for the trail as well.

Once you connect your AllTrails account to Apple Health via the AllTrails Settings tab, whenever you record an activity on AllTrails we will automatically push stats like Steps, Flights Climbed, and Calories into the Apple Health app.

- Now when you record an activity after loading a trail map into Recorder, you can watch your progress along the trail in realtime as you go. The loaded map will turn purple as you record along it, and the new progress bar at the top of the Recorder shows you how much you have left to verify.

We heard your suggestions about how to make Lifeline even better and have some improvements in this version:
• Added ability to end Lifelines while offline (the message will queue up and your safety contacts will be notified as soon as you have signal)
• Added ability to create new maps from the "Load Map" screen in Recorder and Lifeline
• Added ability to load custom maps that have no route into Recorder and Lifeline
• Improved safety contact searching
We also added some features:
• Added a toggle in Settings to display Pace vs Speed in Recorder and on recordings
• Added pull-to-refresh to Trail Details screen
• Added a legend to the Download Map Layers screen to explain the button colors
• In any Map view, when both Nearby Trails and Heatmap overlays are on, you will see a preview of the nearby trails’ routes

• In Recorder, you can now “unload” a map by tapping the loaded map again in the Load Map screen

After months in development, we’re launching our latest AllTrails Pro feature: Lifeline! Exploring the outdoors has never been so safe.
• Designate friends and family as safety contacts who see your planned route and expected return time
• Safety contacts can follow your progress with live tracking when you have a data signal on the trail

• Nearby trails overlay now previews the verified route when you tap on a trail
