Alter é mais que um game, é uma experiência virtual de inclusão e acessibilidade com propósito educativo, inédita no universo online. Criado pelo CMDPCD - Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Pessoa com Deficiência, em parceria com a Prefeitura Municipal de Curitiba, Alter é um advergame que compõe a 2ª fase da Campanha Viral - Não é Privilégio é Direito, que impactou mais de 37 milhões de pessoas de forma espontânea em Dezembro de 2015.

O nome ALTER, vem do latim e significa "o outro", ilustrando bem o objetivo da campanha que é de proporcionar uma experiência virtual e sensorial de se colocar no lugar do outro e conhecer as barreiras que cada um enfrenta em sem caminho. Desta forma, pretende conscientizar a população sobre a importância do respeito aos direitos da pessoa com deficiência e inseri-la no ambiente online de forma inclusiva e acessível.
