About Baton Med

Baton is a web-based software application that enables teams to securely collaborate in real-time. Baton is hosted in the cloud on HIPAA compliant servers, enabling care providers to securely log in from any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection. The Baton software incorporates seamlessly into the existing workflow and can be integrated into the electronic medical record (“EMR”). In situations where an EMR is not available, Baton can be used as the de facto EMR to store, share, and archive patient information.

The Baton Med app provides mobile device access to the Baton application and displays notifications of new and waiting messages using the standard notification interfaces of Apple iOS devices. Tapping on an incoming notification loads the Baton app where the user can enter their log in details to securely access the system and retrieve their messages, ensuring that they stay up to date with the rest of the team, wherever they are located.
