About ESPforMe Search Engine

Control your iPhone and surf the Web using the power of your thoughts alone!

ESPforMe offers a completely new way to experience search, the Web, and apps – one that is directed by your own brainwaves.

ESPforMe functions like a search engine, albeit with an ouija-style digital crystal ball. An in-app purchase converts into a brain-computer interface that you can use to perform basic search and control the app.

You will be also be engaging in a "Digital Séance" with other people who are using the app!

HOW IT WORKS

Anyone can download ESPforMe for and play around with it.

To use the brainwave capability, you need an Emotiv Insight headset, and will have to complete the in-app purchase. These next-generation headsets have multiple uses, so consider buying one if you do not currently own one.

Train the app to respond to your thoughts by completing each of the training options, beginning with Neutral. Press the Train button, and imagine being in each state. When each step is completed, you will see a notification message.

Then think about content you'd like to see. As you surf the Web with your thoughts, the purple circle will move, and your content will appear. The app currently uses a small amount of content to test your brainpower.

The app will gradually improve its understanding of your intent, and your skill will improve over time!

Training your brain can improve your cognitive function, and may even help with sleep, anxiety, and ADHD, although this has not been proven.

README - TRAINING TIPS

Charge your headset overnight.

Follow all recommendations by the headset manufacturer, and use their tools to test connectivity if needed.

Manually drag the circle back to center before each step in the training.

NOTE

It takes some effort to complete the initial trainings. Your headset must be in good working order. Be patient! The first time you see that you can control your iPhone with your mind will blow you away. We recommend that you be seated at the time.
