This is a great and convenient tool for geotechnical and/or geological engineers to quickly and comprehensively record, save, review, edit, distribute and share Geotechnical information from geotechnical soil boring sites. It provides innovative methods with good flexibility to meet comparatively universal geotechnical and/or geological purposes.
The current version includes three major input categories:
- General Geotechnical Field Information;
- Boring Information;
- Sample Information with Image Integration.
The major features of this tool in its current version are:
- It provides a fast and convenient way to input information with good flexibility.
- All the inputs are saved as CSV files which can be easily reviewed, edited, distributed and shared using Email and/or different Cloud services, such as Dropbox, iCloud, OneDrive, etc.
- Comprehensive options are provided to describe each soil sample from soil borings.
- Soil descriptions from each soil sample, as well as other sampling information can be permanently imprinted in images for the corresponding soil sample. This is convenient for geotechnical and/or geological engineers to incorporate and correlate all the soil sample description with soil sample images and other information to have a comprehensive understanding of subsurface geotechnical conditions at the project sites.
- All CSV files and images with soil sample descriptions can be compressed instantaneously into a single zip file to allow the users to easily email all the information to other geotechnical and/or geological engineers for further engineering analyses.
- It is easy and convenient to use on different iOS devices, including different versions of iPhones and iPads.
