About RMS SnapShot
RMS SnapShot is an iPhone application designed to integrate with Delta Industrial’s RMS (Reliability Management Services) SaaS offering. RMS helps industrial plants break the “cycle of failure” for mechanical equipment leading to an increase in Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of mechanical parts and products. Using RMS for surveying, monitoring, diagnosing and maintaining mechanical equipment will afford companies substantial short term and long term savings in repair related replacement products, parts and services.
RMS SnapShot provides a rapid and efficient way to initially populate the RMS database with all the relevant information of the equipment being monitored by the RMS system, eliminating the time consuming effort of manually typing and populating the database. With RMS SnapShot and just a few snaps of a picture, RMS is ready to go.
The database will quickly be populated with:
An actual picture of the mechanical equipment being managed
Pictures of the equipment in position and production use, complete with name plate that includes information such as Manufacturer, Model and Serial number – all useful and relevant information for rapid repair and diagnostics.
Photos of Bill of Materials and Equipment Part Diagrams can be taken with RMS SnapShot and uploaded to the RMS system.
RMS SnapShot is a valuable tool for equipment diagnostic and visual repair reporting as well. With RMS SnapShot a repair organization can document; failed parts, replacement parts and repair procedures for future reference and diagnostics.
