עיתון "השקמה ראשון לציון" מרשת מקומוני השקמה, הוא כלי התקשורת המוביל והמשפיע ביותר בראשון לציון. העיתון שנוסד בשנות ה-90 תחת השם "הראשונים", חרט על דגלו עוד בימיו הראשונים, להעניק במה וקול לכל אחת ואחד מהתושבי העיר, לאלו שעושים מדי יום את החינוך, התחבורה, הספורט, התרבות ונוגעים בכל תחומי החיים. אם תרצו, המגפון של התושבים והכי חזק בראשון לציון. תושבי העיר מצדם השיבו בהבעת אמון ובוחרים, מדי שבוע להכניס את השקמה לביתם ולתת לו לספר את סיפורם.
