「龍，鱗蟲之長。能幽能明，能細能巨，能短能長。」－《說文解字》

龍，既是我國的吉祥物，亦是中華民族的象徵。飛龍在天，寓意志向遠大奔放自如。行龍形態活像「九」字，又如英文字母"K”，乃九龍"Kowloon”的縮寫，正表示我們乃身處中國香港九龍－中西文化交流匯萃之地－的炎黃子孫。龍頭龍身形同英文字〝F〞，表達會名"Federation”含義，團結聯合之謂也。

橢圓，如星體的運行軌跡，有聯會龍騰九霄而得屬會縈繞相伴之意。橢圓線上留有空間，探出龍首，顯示聯會開放的視野與胸懷，呼應我國在新世紀面向世界「走出去」。

橙色象徵多姿多采、繽紛，綠色則予人清新、環保之感，反映聯會多元化、豐富的社團生活，「動如脫兔，靜如處子」，正是龍活多變的形象。
