About 仁王经

《仁王护国般若波罗蜜经》，简称《仁王经》。现存两种译本：一题《仁王般若波罗蜜经》，姚秦鸠摩罗什译；一题《仁王护国般若波罗蜜多经》，唐不空译，都分上下两卷。本经主要内容，系说护佛果、护菩萨十地行法门及守护国土的因缘。
经之出现与流行，反映了中古时代佛教与统治者间的协调、矛盾两方面情况，它既带有强烈的护国色彩，同时亦抗议有些统治者过于统制僧尼，可见有其和政教相关的历史背景。而其主要思想，在于本佛教般若皆空之旨，推广其义，以为实现国家社会和平的基本条件，当也是大乘教义之应有的发展。
