Alternate Nostril breathing is a beautiful breathing technique that helps keep the mind calm, happy and peaceful by just practicing it for a few minutes. It also helps release accumulated tension and fatigue. The breathing technique is named Nadi Shodhan, as it helps clear out blocked energy channels in the body, which in turn calms the mind. It is also known as Anulom Vilom pranayama.

This pranayam has its maximum benefits if you can control your breath in fixed ratio as specified in the yoga scriptures, which is 1:4:2. Which means if you take 1 second to breath in you should hold in the breath for 4 seconds, release the breath in 2 seconds. You can increase the ratio as you gain experience. But who wants to count seconds while focusing on their breath? So, we created a dynamic voice guidance system that will keep track of your timing and tells you what to do next. The app is customizable letting you choose various forms of 1:4:2 ratio. Practice this exercise for a week regularly at least 15 minutes and you will see the benefits as follows:
