With this version of Babel you can import a playlist and leave the app, safe in the knowledge that it will be working away in the background. You can even receive a notification when it's ready!

On this day in 1974 Led Zeppelin threw a Halloween party to launch their record label Swan Song, complete with nuns in suspenders serving drinks and a naked woman in a coffin covered in jelly. Fancy.

This update of Babel allows you to keep playlists synchronised across Spotify and Apple Music. If you have already imported a playlist from Spotify, when you try to import again any new tracks will be added to the existing playlist on Apple Music. Use this feature to keep your Discover Weekly playlist in sync!

Another week, another version of Babel! Here are the main features added to this release:

- Import your playlists and liked tracks from SoundCloud
- Add tracks to existing playlists as well as creating new playlists in Apple Music
- Play tracks from within Babel

Without further ado, here are the awesome new features we've added to Babel:

- import official charts as Apple Music playlists, including Billboard Hot 100 and BBC Radio One
- subscribe to be notified when official charts are updated
- import nostalgia playlists including the top 100 charts from 1954 to 2016
