About Daily Weights

DailyWeights is an app that attempts to detect heart failure exacerbations using the common "3 pounds in 3 days" rule.

Generally speaking, in just 3 days, it is difficult to gain 3 lbs of anything other than water. For patients with known congestive heart failure, their doctors will often ask them to check "daily weights" to monitor for fluid retention.

DailyWeights takes the paperwork out of heart failure management and connects with the Health app to provide a comprehensive sense of fluid balance over time.

Features

• User Interface - Excessive daily weight gain (more than 3 pounds in 3 days) will be flagged with a red warning icon.

• Health app compatibility - DailyWeights can evaluate weights created by other Health-compatible apps.

• Bluetooth Smart compatibility - DailyWeights connects to some Bluetooth Smart scales -- If you have one of these newer scales, you won't have to enter any data!
