About Jackal Retro

Jackal Jeep - Chacal - Top Gunner, también distribuido bajo el título de Top Gunner, es un juego del género run and gun arcade en 1986. El jugador debe maniobrar un jeep armado para rescatar prisioneros de guerra (POWs) atrapados en territorio de enemigo

El Jackal Jeep - Chacal - Top Gunner es un grupo de élite de soldados que se han sometido a un duro regimiento de entrenamiento para sobrevivir en cualquier entorno.

El juego comienza con un helicóptero de transporte que deja caer el Jeep en la costa del territorio enemigo. El objetivo principal es penetrar en el cuartel general principal del enemigo y destruir su arma definitiva. En el camino, usted, el artillero, pasará por numerosos campos de internamiento donde se encuentran los prisioneros de guerra. Los presos recluidos en campos de aislamiento mejorarán el lanzagranadas/misiles del jeep en un nivel. Su jeep recogería a los prisioneros y, una vez que esté lleno, debe conducir hasta el helipuerto más cercano donde un helicóptero de extracción los espera para recuperarlos. Puede recibir más puntos por extraer prisioneros en sucesión. Si un jugador extrae con éxito el número objetivo de prisioneros en una fila en el helicóptero, el lanzador de misiles del jeep se actualizará al siguiente nivel. El jeep atravesará una variedad de áreas diferentes a lo largo de la misión, como una ruina antigua, un lago, una colina y una montaña antes de llegar al cuartel general enemigo.

El Jeep puede atropellar a los soldados de a pie, pero será destruido si recibe un disparo de proyectil o choca con un vehículo enemigo. Cuando su Jeep se destruye, puede mirar para obtener uno de reemplazo. El juego termina cuando cumples la misión o te quedas sin jeeps de reemplazo. Se muestra un mapa en el juego sobre una pantalla que muestra cuánto ha progresado el jugador.
