About Medway: Linking the Lines

Europe was forged through peace and war – lands exchanged hands over centuries and allies became foes many times over. Skilled engineers travelled across the continent and shared their knowledge of warfare and fortifications. Defence lines evolved as rapidly as techniques of attack.
