We continue improving our user experience, in this new version we have updated the look and feel for live classes menu, participants class certificate, and push notifications.

MiWICPR has a new feature, as we continue improving our user experience. Now, WIC Participants can receive documents through the app mobile sent by WIC staff.

The WIC program helps safeguard the health of pregnant women, infants, postpartum, and children up to 5 years who have at least one nutritional risk by providing information on healthy eating practices are elegible, referred to other health services and support and information on breastfeeding.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a public health program that offers Education in Nutrition, Breastfeeding and Supplemental Foods.

It belongs to the Food and Nutrition Services of the Federal Department of Agriculture and in Puerto Rico is attached to the Department of Health.

In this new release, the Participant’s Declaration on Orientation of Rights and Acceptance of Commitments and Obligations documents has a new format and participants will be able to view document in app once accepted. In addition, participants can now enjoy reading WIC Stories on the new menu.

We've updated Mi WIC PR to make it easier for WIC participants to schedule their appointments. You can now choose between a virtual or in-person appointment at a clinic that's convenient for you. Simply select the modality and clinic (if it's in-person), and choose a date and time that works best for you. We've also added more classes in this version, with improved formatting. Your WIC classes will now be recorded on your profile for easy access.

In this new release, WIC Participants will be able to request their Health Care Provider the Medical Documentation for supplemental foods. It is only necessary to search and select your health provider. MiWICPR will submit the request to the Healthcare Provider Portal to be completed online.
Through the mobile app, participants can now view the status of their medical documentation request. Once completed and submitted by the healthcare provider, the participant will be able to view and download the medical documentation.

Discover MiWICPR’s new option, My EBT Card. WIC Participants can now see their Assigned Benefits for family members, Available Balance, and Transactions History.  Participants will be able to check their assigned benefits for the current month or previous periods. In addition, through the option Transactions History participants can view products acquired at their selected vendor, by the date and time the product was redeemed.
Also, participants will have access to their family virtual EBT Card and will display the EBT card number, issued date, status, WIC ID family number.

Now primary participants can register participants belonging to the same family WIC ID under one mobile account. In addition, the primary participant will have access to family members profile and view their information, eligibility, virtual card, classes taken, and benefits granted.

Also, this new release, allows registered participants to take classes online within the categories of Women, Infants, Children and General Topics. At the end of each class, participants will answer some questions related to the class and obtain a certificate for their contacts needed.

We continue improving our user experience, in this version the following modifications have been made:
1. Account deletion for registered users
2. Mobile default language in Spanish
3. Users can view persons waiting in line for service at clinics, information provided in real time

In this version, Participants can easily review and digitally accept WIC required documents, such as, WIC 915, HIPAA Law, and Breast Milk Substitutes for Infants; prior to their certification appointment.

New features are available in a new look and feel to help you from the comfort of your home or wherever you are.
Now you can have access to online classes and live workshops from your cell phone. This new version will allow you to keep track of your educational certificates. Live the experience and meet the required educational contacts. You will have access to your enhanced virtual ID. Also, you can have the information of the dependents of your account on your cell phone

The following are the most important changes:

In this version fixed sending documents at a lower weight was corrected.

The Authorized Food List section was modified to display segregated food categories and subcategories using an image approach.

Mi WIC PR is constantly working to improve your experience. This version includes login and access to send messages and documents. In this version you can register to create an account or enter as a guest. In addition, adjustments were made for language change settings.
