About neo Drone - virtual theremin

neo Drone es un innovador theremin como sintetizador. El tono de los osciladores se controla moviendo la mano en el aire sin tocar el dispositivo. La mano es rastreada por la cámara frontal. El algoritmo detrás fue hecho por mí en el segundo Music Hakathon en Sofía.
Puede controlar el rango del sintetizador ajustando la sensibilidad a la luz, pero la aplicación no funciona en entornos oscuros. El rango tonal es de 2 octavas y media y puede tocar en modo Legato y Staccato.
El área de toque del dispositivo funciona como un interruptor de apagado para que pueda producir estos sonidos de sintetizador parlante.

neo Drone is innovative theremin like synthesizer. The pitch of the oscillators is controlled by moving your hand in the air without touching the device. The hand is tracked by the front face camera. The algorithm behind was made by me on the second Music Hakathon in Sofia.
You can control the range of the synth by adjusting the light sensitivity, but the app is not working in dark environments. The tonal range is 2 and a half octaves and you can play in legato and staccato mode.
The touch area of the device is working as a kill switch so you can produce these talking synth sound.
