About SummitLynx - Diario de a bordo
Bitácora móvil gratuita para excursionistas y montañistas.
Tu registro personal de senderismo y cumbres para teléfonos inteligentes. Haz tu Check in en las cumbres alpinas así como en otros de los puntos más destacados en todo el mundo y demuestra a través de GPS que has conquistado la montaña!
Con esta aplicación gratuita puedes registrarte en una Bitácora de cumbres virtual y así, acumular tus logros en una crónica que incluye nombre de la montaña, fecha y hora. Además, a través de Summit Lynx puedes hacer una foto y compartir tus logros a través de Facebook con tus amigos. Tus amigos podrán ver de inmediato cuando alcances la cima de una montaña, te pares en ella y celebrar tu éxito junto a tí.
Pero eso no es todo! Mediante esta bitácora con GPS, puedes ganar medallas e insignias (badges) virtuales en rutas predefinidas, al mismo tiempo que otros excursionistas y escaladores a su vez son recompensados por sus esfuerzos. También se llevarán a cabo competencias a lo largo del año.

This update includes a feature which should help you collect more points for trophies. With suggested checkins you will never miss points for your much desired trophies again, as the app uses iOS' background location service to suggest checkins you passed during the day.

We are ready for the hiking season 2019 with some cool new features and improvements:
- Emergency notification system: An emergeny SMS is send to a contact person, if you don't return from a tour as planned. This feature was developed together with the Styrian (Austria) mountain rescue service.
- Map view for trophies: See where you can earn points for our trophies with our new map view
- New map marker for places you have visited: See where you've already been on the map with our new map marker
- Apple Watch support: Checkin easy and fast using your Apple Watch
- Smaller changes, improvements and bugfixes as always :-)
