Askiaface for iOS combines the beauty of the iPad & iPhone with the raw power of our survey design, data collection and agent management tools.
With askiaface for iOS you get:
- A free iOS app: that lets your agents connect directly (via askiafield) to complete mobile interviews.
- Full integration: askiaface for iOS links seamlessly into other Askia products giving you advanced survey design features (askiadesign) and effective fieldwork management (askiafield).

- Changed login error message to a more user friendly warning when trying to sync with the Askiafield server after a recent sync.
- Replaced the “Delete survey” button with a “More” button that opens an action sheet with the delete survey action and two more actions described below.
- Refresh resources for this survey: Have you ever started your survey only to realise that some images / other assets were missing. This action will trigger the full download of all resources attached to the survey.
- Refresh the survey definition: This will download the survey definition only and overwrite the one currently on the device. This allows to avoid issues with corrupt survey definitions.
- Missing resources detection: this new mechanism will check for any missing survey resources when starting a new interview. Users will be able to either proceed without the missing assets or to force the app to download any such missing resources.
- Fix some pesky bugs related to UI operations in background threads.
- Fixed an issue that would cause survey controls to not render properly when starting a new interview after having completed an out-of-quota interview (not certain I understood that one, so I'd be glad if you do!).

Unfortunately, we have had to roll-back the previous update (3.3.10) as some of you reported various regression issues. We are currently investigating these problems and will update the application as soon as we are confident we have fixed all such issues.
