About Awkward Lies
The purpose of a golf shot is to get the ball airborne and have pinpoint accuracy & maximum/optimum distance.
To do this, the golfer needs to make good contact with the ball especially on uneven lies so once the golfer reaches the ball the first order of business is to examine the lie based on the grass and based on the slope.
The trick to hit from any slope is making it play like a flat lie. To do that, first, identify the issue and then understand what to expect and what to do.
By Using this app over time, one learns to assess and handle various lies and able to hit shots to drop your handicap and also not blaming your swing for all awkward lies.
How to use the app:
1. Address the ball (i.e. see how the golf ball is lying).
2.Place the phone with the app 'ON' between your feet.
3. Press the lie guide icon
4. The app will find the lie
5. Will then take you to the screen automatically after few seconds
6. The information on the screen will tell you "What to expect" and "what to do" in your set up to make good contact and good swing.
7. It also shows you a quick snap shot for quick reference to save time.
8. Use it to grain what to expect and what to do from awkward lies, to ingrain in your memory for better scoring.
