About Behind the Apps
When meeting other developers and hearing their stories of inspiration we noticed similar themes. When we thought of the original motivations for creating our first app, we found other developers had similar motivations.
When we created our first app, we had no idea how our story would evolve. Getting to know other developers and share their stories has become an important part of giving back to the developer community.
"Stories Behind the Apps" is about people and more importantly, it is their story that needs telling.
All developers need three things - users, feedback and publicity. Some of these are easier to obtain than the others. This is our contribution to helping with the discovery of their app, and a little free publicity.
In Stories Behind the Apps, we are looking to identify new developers to feature and reconnect with previously featured developers to provide an update and see where they are on their continuing journey.
We hope that this series gives some unique and valuable insight as you develop or think about your next app and the lessons these folks learned.
