BJ Bridge Pro 3.4 Update
2020-11-25 Version History
Updated to run on iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, with support for new Apple devices, including iPhone SE 2nd generation and latest iPads.
New conventions now offered via an options choice: “Finding NT or Major games”. You can turn on “Fourth Suit Forcing” and either “Crowhurst” or “New Minor Forcing”. These all help in choosing between a suit and a NT contract and whether to go for game. Also more refined bidding when choosing between a suit and NT contract.
New option to show your cards with suits re-aligned to Dummy. You may turn this off in ‘Bidding and Playing options’.
Improvements when connecting with another player, after choosing to defend against your partner’s contract.
Improvements to “Two Over One” and ”Forcing 1 NT” response, including an explanation in hints for why these conventional bids do not apply in some cases.
More improvements to Splinter bid handling, particularly tighter rules for detecting that a bid is a Splinter.
Improvements to suit length and strength inferences during bidding.
Cosmetic changes: increased font sizes for Help Tab links. Also from Help Tab, a “Review BriJ” link. Smoother display for STOP and ALERT cards. Better explanatory text within bidding hints. Pause introduced before scores are shown. if you choose to “See” all cards face up, tricks are shown more clearly.
Other bug fixes and improved stability.
