About BopQuiz: Guess the Song
This game challenges your music knowledge, whether you're flying solo or competing with friends. All you need is an active Apple Music subscription.
Navigate your way to the summit of the international leaderboards, engage in thrilling duels, or outshine your friends in person!
Explore a vast selection of playlists, pick your favorite, set the rules, and dive in.
*Single Player*
In Single Player mode, strive for the top spots on the international leaderboards.
A song is played and you are shown four possible answers, but only one is correct. To get to the top, your choice must not only be correct, but also fast!
You only have one chance per game variant, but you can also play outside the rankings just for fun.
*Local Multiplayer*
The multiplayer mode is designed for the couch, train rides, or any gathering where you have a few friends for a local showdown.
Simply input the names of your friends and rivals, set the rules, and kick off the game.
A song plays, and the first person who believes they know the artist, the title, or both (depending on the rules) hits the buzzer. The player then has five seconds to provide the answer. A correct answer earns a point, while an incorrect one deducts a point.
Play the selected number of songs and discover who holds the title of the ultimate music nerd among you!

Opt for the Duel mode to challenge a friend to an asynchronous match. Take turns selecting and playing playlists.
After five playlists, each with seven songs, you can declare the champion—until the next duel begins!

A new section is waiting for you to explore new music. Every Friday, the latest and most popular albums will be selected for you, including their corresponding playlists. Show directly which release you like, play the playlists or add the album to your library.
The single-player logic has been revised so that you can play updated playlists every week. Due to new releases, the playlists sometimes change more frequently, now you can compete with the other players in the world every week.
With this in mind, you can now also see the best rounds of the current week and month in the leaderboards. The first attempt is still displayed separately.
I finally understood how some people cheat - Ha!! So from now on, pausing a song while guessing will be counted as a cheat attempt.
The multiplayer mode has not been forgotten either! In addition to some bug fixes and UI enhancements, pictures can now be added to players. Just take a quick selfie, preferably with a nice pose or grimace.
In my opinion, this is a real upgrade and makes the process more personal, especially on the iPad!
The layout and UI have been improved in a couple of places, maybe you'll notice!

You can now share your curated playlists with the BopQuiz community! Select the colors, add some metadata and share them. You even get a reward for it!
We have a new area to explore these playlists by other users. Filter by genre, decade and language to find your next game to play.

You can now chat between duel rounds. Let your opponent know how bad they were or which songs were especially tricky!
Also we optimized the block and report function, as a chat feature is always inviting bad behavior.

- Fix a duel bug which prevented games from starting

In this version you can use three fun joker if you don't know the playing song, but can't risk to mess up your hit streak.
They are part of the in-app purchases that are coming with this update. To support the developer, you can buy extra game tickets, joker or an all access pass.
The pricing is fair, the free contingent is enough for the casual players and the early supporters get some additional perks.
What else:
• Read the playlists description before a game.
• A new section for recent playlists by other user.
• Animations and background colors are optimized
• Sign-up is more stable
• Fixed some bugs of course (no more duplicate games yay) :)

Another big step forward! You can play Guess the Song even without an active Apple Music subscription now! Yay!
The titles are limited to preview snippets if you don't have a subscription, but that doesn't impact the fun factor.
Actually it's good for us. Until now it was too easy to cheat, but this way your phones music player doesn't know the relevant information.
Now its equal opportunity for all!
