الحج كرنفال سنوي للأرواح والمشاعر والعقول، يجمع الملايين حول الكعبة. والكتاب الذي أعده الشاعر محمد أحمد السويدي عن رحلات الحج يتضمن 365 مشهدا تعبيريا بالكلمة والصورة من مشاهد ذلك الكرنفال المبارك. الكتاب بعنوان "لبيك، اللهم لبيك"، وهو لوحات بانورامية مختارة من نصوص عشرات الكتاب القادمين إلى مكة من مختلف البلدان وعبر مختلف العصور. وحين تدخل في لب الكتاب، فأنت لا تؤدي فريضة حج واحدة وحسب، لكنك تنعم بالحج مئات المرات، وتأنس بلقاء الملايين من الحجيج في كل قراءة. ولا تنس أن رحلة الحج كانت برا وبحرا، وهي محفوفة بالأخطار. إن متعة الاطلاع على لمحات من خواطر هؤلاء الحجاج ومشاهداتهم لا تقل عن سعادة الملبين لأداء هذه الفريضة الإلهية.
