Cam Shutter

Use the app as a simple remote camera shutter.

The app works as a wireless remote control that can be used to take photos or start/stop a video recording on a device from a distance. The app can control one device, or multiple devices simultaneously. The app can delay when the shutter command is sent to a device in order to provide enough time to hide your phone before the photo is snapped, to join in on a group photo, or to have the freedom to use both hands while taking a photo. The delay feature in the app also prevents the need to have to directly activate then deactivate self-timer mode on a device. The app can also activate the auto-focus on BLE cameras that support this feature.

Connecting to a devices is easy and straightforward. The app works with a wide range of compatible devices including:
- Cameras that support BLE
- Smart phones and tablets
- Windows computers (Camera app)
- Mac computers (Photo Booth app)

Remote shutters make taking selfies and group photos more convenient. They do not require line-of-sight and they eliminate the need to physically press the shutter button on a camera, which helps avoid taking shaky, blurry photos. Unlike physical camera shutter remotes, however, the app is easily accessible on your phone, so there is no need to worry about having extra batteries or hardware to carry around.
