With Football GO, you get to fine-tune both your physical fitness AND your mental alertness. Once you download and launch the app, you’ll find the first screen - with the ‘Locker’, ‘Stadiums’, ‘Distance’ and ‘Best Score’ tabs. You are now all set to become more active...with the help of some amazing virtual football.
The app gives you the option of selecting the number of steps you wish to cover at any time. The more steps you cover, the greater are the rewards - and you can opt for the modest 50-step target, or go for the uber-active option of 1000 steps. On Football Go, it’s all about your preferences.
Once you have selected your target number of steps, it’s time to look forward to the footballing fun. As many as 3 stadiums are available for free on this fitness-meets-activity application (more stadiums can be unlocked via in-app purchase). In each stadium, the challenge is to beat the goalkeeper and score as many goals as you can within the stipulated period of time. It’s not as easy as it sounds...for the proficiency of the goalkeepers increases progressively!
The activity and fitness-boosting elements are seamlessly incorporated in the Football Go application. Once you have completed the goal-scoring challenge in a stadium, you’ll have to cover a certain number of steps (based on your initial step target selection), to unlock the next stadium. The AR-based backgrounds keep things uniformly interesting - and what’s more, you can even tweak the weather conditions in the stadiums. How about some football in the rain?
Football Go also offers exciting in-app purchase options. By paying a nominal amount, you can unlock 3 more stadiums, Super boots (for those curved shots), the unstoppable Fire Ball, and Energy Fruit/Energy Water (to get some extra seconds to add to your goals tally). You can, of course, restore your purchases any time you want.
