About GoLow
We have a goal - to make it easy for everyone to reduce their climate impact. That's why we created GoLow. Together, we can quickly make a significant and measurable difference to the climate globally.
Knowledge
The first step towards reducing your climate footprint is to understand it. When you use GoLow, you can quickly and easily calculate your climate footprint and see what affects your emissions the most. Everywhere in the app there are smart functions that make you learn more, step by step. You can for example in each individual question find out how a particular choice affects CO2 emissions.
GoLow adapts to the user
In GoLow you are completely anonymous. You do not need to create an account or log in, and we do not save any personal data. It's just a matter of getting started. The app then adapts challenges, advice and tips to you and your lifestyle. If you are under 18, the app also changes content and advice to be as relevant as possible for everyone.
Dynamic challenges
In GoLow, you can take on climate-smart challenges to test a more sustainable lifestyle. The challenges are dynamic, which means that you choose how long and how much you want to test an option. If you complete a challenge, you win medals that you can share with your friends to show what you are doing for the climate.
Do it together with others
Reducing your climate footprint is not nearly as complicated as many people think, and you are not alone. In the app, you can see and compare yourself to others, create or join groups, share your results or look out over the world in the map view to see what it looks like in your surroundings or around our planet.
Find green options near you
There are plenty of sustainable options around you. We have made it easy for you to find them. In our "Green choices" feature, you will find lots of products and services in your vicinity from companies that actively and innovatively work for the climate. The list is sorted by those closest to you and in the map view you can see exactly where they are.

In this version we have made it possible to pay carbon offset with credit cards. We have added a new leaderboard for Sweden's municipalities, updated questions in questionnaire, added the possibility to filter on your own goal and the ability to view your own footprint in AR (only available in iOS 12 and later versions). This version also includes a variety of design improvements. For all German-speaking users, the app is now translated into German.

In this version we make it possible to set your own personal goals, share your climate efforts in social media and select which country you live in. For those who like to win, we have added new auto generated medals and the opportunity to see your earned medals in AR. The leaderboard is also updated with a new category - most earned medals! We have updated Challenges so they are possible to accept both yearly and monthly. For those of you who receive reminders, we have now added rich notifications so you can interact with these directly on your screen. To get a better overview of your questions, we have added a timestamp where you can see when you answered a particular question. We have also updated the app with a number of design improvements and illustrations. Last but not least, we have improved the voucher flow, because it should be easy to climate compensate!

We have added new questions where you can now choose and compare different modes of transport which are powered by electricity. You can also see your climate impact from your holiday home and choose vegan alternatives in the category Food. We have also updated the app with several design improvements and illustrations. Now you can for example search for groups directly in the leaderboard and more easily switch between the statistics in the group view.
