Deze app bevat de eerste versie van de regionale traumaprotocollen in Regio West.

De protocollen zijn gebaseerd op bestaande richtlijnen en waar mogelijk gereviseerd aan de hand van recente literatuur. Daarnaast zijn alle bij de trauma betrokken specialismen geconsulteerd. Het boekje bevat lokale richtlijnen waar op goede indicatie van afgeweken kan worden. Deze richtlijnen zijn bedoeld om uw eigen oordeelsvorming te ondersteunen, niet om die te vervangen. De richtlijnen komen niet in mindering op uw verantwoordelijkheid als medische professional. In tegendeel; zij beogen u overwegingen aan te reiken die het behandelbeleid waarvoor u verantwoordelijk bent, rationeler en transparanter maken.
