About Lifeline: Community Response

The golden hour is the most important for critically ill or injured patients in determining survivability. In areas distant from hospitals or ambulance rescue, patients could be left waiting hours for help to arrive. Local, trained EMS volunteers are uniquely positioned to be the lifeline that makes the difference. Nearby qualified responders can significantly reduce the response time and improve a patient's odds by assessing and stabilizing the patient until paramedics can arrive.

With Lifeline: Community Response, trained and registered volunteers can be notified by official dispatchers when emergency situations develop in your area. See emergencies on a map with suggested directions. Grab your go-bag and stabilize the patient while paramedics are on the way.
