Lots of tweaks and improvements in this release. The goal was to improve overall user friendliness and user experience, and to fix the most annoying bugs. Here's what changed specifically:

Database:
• Added the new Illusionist monster type!

Card Details:
• Added a visual indicator to show new users that you can swipe between cards
• Added a Tips popup
• Added Help page
• Increased card swipe speed
• Increased max font size for effect boxes in full card images
• Centered spell/trap type vertically with its icon
• Fixed: Spell attribute icon now says 'Spell' instead of 'Magic'

Deck Bar (the deck toolbar at the top of Card Details):
• Added tip to clarify functionality
• List now uses as much height as it needs to show your decks (instead of always being a fixed height)
• Added drop shadow to better separate toolbar from the rest of the screen
• Made it harder to accidentally tap the count buttons
• Added special case for when you only have 1 deck (instead of it showing an empty list)
• Fixed: Decks are now sorted alphabetically, case-insensitive (instead of case-sensitive like before)
• Fixed: Newly created decks sometimes didn't show up in the list if you hadn't added cards to them yet

Sort/filter screen:
• Made this screen much taller so you can see more of the sort/filter buttons
• Filters no longer reset on each new search (based on much user feedback)

Search:
• Added tip to clarify functionality
• Search suggestions and search history items are smaller now, so you can see more at once
• Centered 'No results found' text, and added more padding
• Show total # of cards even when no search has been made
• If your search query doesn't find any results, the app always tries to search for similar terms if feasible. But it didn't always clearly explain that the search terms changed because the original terms didn't find any results. This could feel like the app is randomly changing your search terms for no reason. Now it more clearly explains that results weren't found for your search, but it was able to find results for a similar query.
• Card number search is back! Any 8-digit number will now look for matching card numbers like the old app did
• Fixed: On the keyboard, the Enter key is now a Search button when the search bar is focused (as opposed to saying something generic like 'Enter' or 'Done')

Decks:
• Added support for missing cards that aren't in your database yet (e.g. when you import a deck with cards from a newer database update that you don't have yet)
• Added more descriptive errors when recovering decks from old app
• Made short link generation dialog dismissible when sharing deck link (in case of network issues that make it take too long)
• Fixed: Add to Deck tutorial stopped showing up after one of the most recent updates. It's back now for new users.
• Fixed: Decks tab help button was also showing up on Test tab
• Fixed: Recover Decks button was showing up in Decks tab for old Yugipedia users that had no decks to recover

Miscellaneous:
• Restored tab behavior from old app. Now if you tap the tab icon for the tab that you're already on, it will go all the way back to the first page of that tab.

Fixed a glitch that prevented iPad users from sharing cards and decks. Updated some code libraries.

This update adds a TON of new features to the Deck Tester:

• Automatic shortcuts for Pot of Avarice, Pot of Desires, Pot of Duality, and Pot of Extravagance
• More buttons on the Card Viewer screen: Summon, Send to Graveyard, and Banish
• Tokens! Press the token button below the field to summon a token, drag it off the field to remove it
• Counters! You can drag counters from the Counter Pile pile to any card. Drag them off the field to remove them. Additionally, you can edit the number of counters from the Card Viewer screen.
• Deck now auto-shuffles after you search it. This can be disabled in Deck Test Settings
• The field defaults to New Field now (the old pre-Link field is still available under Deck Test Settings)
• Tap a card to view it, hold a card to change battle position (it used to be vice-versa). This can be changed back via Deck Test Settings
• Coin/Dice button
• Dedicated Search Deck button
• Banish/Send button that lets you pick how many cards, where they come from, and whether they should be face-up or face-down

MEMORY IMPROVEMENTS

• Found and fixed some memory leaks
• Improved the overall memory footprint of the app. It is still a little resource-heavy by nature of all the card pictures that it needs, but it should be less likely to be killed by the OS now when you swap to other apps or leave it running in the background for a while
• Optimized the database loading and resource loading, which gives a small speed-up to startup time and reduces memory pressure at startup


GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS

• The system status bar (at the top of the screen) is no longer hidden, so you can see the time, battery status, etc.
• Updated a few icons to better show what action they represent
• Improved the user experience when changing search results pages. Now it starts you back at the top of the next page instead of keeping the scroll bar in the same position as it was before
• Updated all libraries, and the app is now built using the latest iOS 13.7 SDK
• Added success dialog for Fetch All Images
• Updated and changed some of the code libraries I'm using
• Improved font to be able to handle more unusual characters like the stars in Evil Twin and Live Twin cards

• Fixed a bug where monsters with 0 level/rank/pendulum weren't showing up in Monster searches
• Fixed a bug that could mess up the title bar when going to the next page of search results
• Fixed some mysterious crashes occurring in the layout engine
• Finally found and fixed main cause of the random crashes on iOS
• Several other minor tweaks and fixes

This update has some deck tester fixes:

Fixed a bug where the app sometimes confused tapping vs dragging cards in the deck tester

You can now view any card or group of cards by long pressing them (touch and hold until the viewer pops up). You can also use this for things like searching your deck, just press and hold the deck until it shows up :)

Now you can tap Graveyard or Banished to view the cards

Improved the tutorial and cut down on the lengthiness of tutorial messages


I'm working on a completely rebuilt Yugipedia experience! It will overhaul the UI and make things much smoother and more stable. It will probably be a while before it's ready, but just know that it's coming!

I already have a bunch of new features that I plan to add once I rebuild it, so stay tuned for an even better Yugipedia!

iOS 11 and iPhone X support is here! Yugipedia will now display properly on iPhone X (no more black bars!)

Also, several bug fixes and improvements including:
-Fixed a glitch preventing sharing decks on iPad
-Removed and shortened some UI text to keep UI elements from running together visually
-Updated libraries for best compatibility
-Fixed several miscellaneous crashes

Updated all the libraries I use for better performance and stability.

This is just a hotfix to stop the crash that has been hitting the majority of my users in the past 24 hours. It is originating from Amazon Mobile Ads and it seems to be coming from their end of things, so I'm simply disabling Amazon as an ad source until they can stabilize their SDK.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for hanging in there until I could patch it.

Link monsters are here! You can now add Link monsters to your decks and can test on either the original or the new field layout.

Cyberse type was added as well as search options for Cyberse and Link monsters.

Assorted bug fixes and improvements. App should run much better now on the latest iOS because I'm using updated development tools.

PLAYTEST IS FINALLY HERE!
Yugipedia finally has a solo Playtest feature that allows you to visually test your decks! It lets you draw cards and play them on a solo field using a simple drag-and-drop interface. This update took so long because I wanted to make something that I would like to use, not just another weak Test Draw feature. NOTE: This is not a dueling system. It’s just a solo field where you can draw and place your cards to simulate your side of a duel.
You can test a deck by clicking the Play icon when viewing one of your decks.

UI IMPROVEMENTS
Several UI improvements were also added in this update. Each screen tab now remembers which screen it is on even when you switch to another tab. No more losing your place in a search!
Also, every button and list item shows visual feedback when you touch it, helping you to see what you’re actually clicking on. Subtle but powerful.
I’ve had several questions about how to delete cards from a deck, and I realized that it wasn’t as obvious as I thought, so I replaced the confusing pencil icon with a giant X.
I’ve smoothed the font for the app, so all text now is smooth even when it has to scale up or down.

RESPONSIVENESS
I’ve decreased the amount of time the app tries to update the card list in situations when there’s no Internet access. Also, I fixed a bug where card lists could be very laggy and unresponsive if there was no Internet access. Still, the best app experience is when you have Internet access, so that’s what I recommend.

MORE DECK FEATURES
After many of you have requested it, I’ve finally added a way to rename your decks. It’s the pencil icon on the Decks screen. Also, if you want to make a copy of your deck, there’s an option for that when you go to rename it. This makes it easier to take your decks in a different direction while still keeping a copy of the original design.
I’ve also added more card sorting options for decks (suggested by a user, I do listen to you guys). More specifically, there is now an arrow next to the sort option list that controls the direction of the sort (ascending or descending).
