2.10 2023-01-17
This version contains the following improvements and features:
- Support for User Property conditions in Checklists
- Added the ability to add assets on-the-fly by scanning the asset number using OCR as well as typing
- If an inspection is submitted that matches an existing task, we will prompt the user if they want to start this task
- Be able to use Asset Properties to label an image along with sub-checks
- Support site based asset affixes when adding on-the-fly assets
- Some UI improvements for iPads and on the photo screens
- Increase the minimum support iOS level to iOS 10 (released 2016)
- Improve recoverability of transactions from logs
- Preparation work for our brand new Assignments 2.0 feature coming soon.
- Fix for an incompatibility with audio messages and iOS 16.2
2.9.5 2022-04-03
This minor release allows you to use the cumulative score of an inspection as criteria in conditions.
2.9.2 2021-08-11
Following the success of Asset Property conditions being introduced to ChekRite, we have built on this and now can specify conditions based on Asset Category, Asset Class or Sub-Class, and also by Time or Date values. e.g. If it's a Monday do this
We also introduced a new question type called Audio. Similar to the Audio Extra Info, this lets you specify a question with just the ability to record an audio message.
Some users keep their phones locked in Portrait mode. This caused issues when we asked them to rotate the camera to take photos. Through some clever coding, we can now rotate the camera screen even if the phone is locked into Portrait mode.
There were a number of other stability and performance enhancements added into this version too.
2.8.5 2020-05-08
This version has the following features:
- You can now randomise a selection of questions in a folder. Say you had 10 company golden rules that you wanted people to be aware of. You can have a different 3 presented to them each time they do an inspection
- If you are connected to the internet, you can now display web links for additional content. Manuals are still there for offline content though.
- Emoji buttons!! Yes, now you can use emojis for buttons instead of text. Use this for gathering someone's mood at the end of an inspection or anywhere else that you want to
2.8.3 2020-03-12
This version adds OCR to the latest iPhones so now they too can identify assets just by pointing the camera at the licence plate or other number on the vehicle.

Also fixed a bug that prevented Extra Information from being shown for Hour Meter questions.
2.8.2 2020-03-06
Very minor change around prerequisite questions to ensure they only display inspections from the selected asset.
2.8.1 2020-02-29
There are a couple of great new features in this version.

Actions are out, hamburgers are in. We've replaced the Actions button on the top left with a hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) to make a bit more space at the top.

The Asset Documentation feature we released recently is now available mid-checklist. If you need to check on a document associated with this asset just tap the hamburger button on the top left and you can review it then and there in the middle of your checklist and keep going.

We also bring Checklist Prerequisites to ChekRite to supercharge your workflow. Now you can specify that another checklist needs to be completed before this checklist. But not only can you specify which checklist but how recently it needs to have been done.

We also fixed a couple of minor camera bugs around black and white photos and the camera not rotating correctly for Touchpoint questions.
2.8 2020-02-02
Asset Documentation comes to ChekRite. Now you can view and, if allowed, share documentation about your asset, the asset class or the site. Use this for storing company policies and making them available to users, operator manuals for different makes and models, and of course, documents related to specific assets such as registration, insurance and certifications.

We've also made the initial syncing a lot faster by moving a lot of syncing activities to the background. (Seriously, it's a lot faster!!)
2.7.2 2020-01-08
Minor release to fix up a couple of residual display quirks and to fix a pesky memory leak.
2.7.1 2019-11-16
Very minor update. When doing some upgrades it's necessary to re-download the database because the structure changes. This process wasn't very tolerant if the network dropped out mid-upgrade. Now it is plus it warns you that it needs a network connection to do the upgrade.
Also some minor changes to the UI. We added the Sync Now button to the sign-on screen and the Unsubmitted Tests message to the Dashboard screen.
2.7 2019-11-09
This version has a few stability improvements and some bug fixes but also has some great new features including:
- Touch point - a new type of question that allows you to set up a bar code or QR code as a place that must be "touched" as part of the inspection. When the users get there, they scan the code to prove that they were at that location.
- Stopwatch - this a new Extra Info type so now you can time how long something takes.
- Dynamic Lists - select from options in a dynamic list that can be updated without having to update the checklist. Use this for things like Project Codes or customer sites, etc. If you allow it, users can even add new items on the fly.
- Asset Properties in Questions - Ability to dynamically show Asset Properties in the Question text
- Asset Properties - When you select an Asset, you can now display all the Asset Properties prior to starting a checklist
- Be able to scan bar codes and QR codes when selecting assets in embedded checklists
2.6.7 2019-10-01
Mostly this release is about compatibility with iOS 13. There are a couple of bugs that were also squashed relating to resuming checklists when a device was offline.
2.6.6 2019-08-08
Minor update to fix a crash that occurs when you swiped backwards during an embedded checklist.
2.6.5 2019-07-02
Minor release to fix another random bug that appeared when you added a new asset on the fly and then immediately tried to submit an inspection for it.
2.6.4 2019-06-28
Bugs are bad. We found two and fixed them in this version.
- Repeating a checklist with a Group Title as the first question no longer shows a completely blank screen (yeah, we thought it was obscure too but some lucky person found it!)
- Going back and forth between questions didn't always calculate fail weights correctly. Now it does. As it should.

Hopefully this is the last update to 2.6. Stay tuned for some great new features in 2.7!
2.6.3 2019-05-20
Two Features, 1 Bug fix.

Features
- You can now have Employee ID's or Badge #'s up to 8 digits long. Great for some of our larger customers!
- The Exit button is gone and has been replaced by the Action button. Along with Discarding and Suspending inspections we have a new option to Review so that any point in the inspection you can review what has happened so far.

Bug Fix
- When using a device in Test mode, submitting or discarding a test would break syncing for the next 15 mins. That doesn't happen any more.
2.6.2 2019-04-23
Ensure that only inspections that can be repeated are shown in new Repeat checklist list.

In other words, if the original inspection was for an older version of that checklist, it can't be repeated.
2.6.1 2019-04-11
Our cool new timer feature wasn't compatible with devices running an iOS version prior to iOS10. That has been fixed and now everyone gets to enjoy that feature no matter how old their device is.

We also squashed a bug that prevented you from adding assets on the fly if there were no other assets in that asset class.
2.6 2019-03-28
So many cool new features in this version plus a number of bug fixes and stability improvements. Here are just some of the new changes:
- Be able to use a previous inspection as the basis for a new one. (Perfect for before and after inspections common in the hire industry)
- Moved the photo edit controls one layer out and saved you one extra tap on the screen. Over the course of the year, the time saved from now having to make that one tap would have allowed you to have an extra cup of coffee. You're welcome. (Oh and if you have an iPhone X you are going to love the UI of this!)
- On-the-fly asset creation. If you allow it, users will be able to create assets on the fly provided that Asset Class already exists. This is a huge benefit for those users that have random assets turn up to be inspected.
- On-screen timer. If you have set an expected duration for a question longer than 30 seconds, a cool on-screen timer will be shown so that the users know how long they have to go for that task. On the iPad, they can tap on it to make it full screen.
- Ghost mode!!! When you are repeating an inspection, tap on one of the previous historical photos to bring up ghost mode. Tap on the ghost symbol and you will a semi-transparent view of that photo overlayed over the viewfinder so you can accurately line up the before and after photos. This is way cooler than it sounds!!!
2.5.5 2015-08-20
"Hell will have multiple timezones." This version fixes a bug with timezones and dates before epoch (1/1/1970). This is a recommended upgrade for all users.
