About Classic Euchre

From the makers of Pyramid Solitaire and BlackJack Run, comes the classic game of Euchre. This has always been a long time favorite game of previous mobile device customers, and we are glad to make it available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch platforms.

True to it’s origins, Classic Euchre brings a clean and simple interface along with straight forward play. You are paired up with a computerized opponent and play against a computerized team in the quest to reach 10 points first.

- Universal app and retina graphics for all iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices.
- Dark Mode support.
- Automatic hand sorting.
- Go Alone capabilities.
- Computerized partner and opponents.
- Turbo Play option which ends hands early when possible.

Functional Changes:
- Added ability to to view the Trick Review screen on devices that do not show it on the main screen. Added Trump information to the Trick Review screen.
- Starting dealer is now randomized when you start a new game.

Functional Changes:
- Human and computer players can now go alone when Dirty Clubs occurs.

- Fixed crashes with Framers Hand enabled.
- Fixed crashes when the computer players go alone.
- Fixed issue where game would get stuck when a computer player swaps out cards for Ace No Face or Farmers Hand.

AI Improvements:
- Corrected code that allowed the computer opponents to overtrump their partner in Going Alone situations.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed issue where Ace-No-Face/Farmers Hand text would overlap Pass/Pick-It-Up buttons.

Functional Changes:
- Changed so the computer player partner would not overtrump your card if possible.
- Changed how the computer players lead cards.
- Improved computer trump selecting to take into account the number/type of Jacks they have in their hands. This should be helpful when the “Screw The Dealer” is enabled.

Version 1.1 brings not only bug fixes, but adds some great new features.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed issue where human was allowed to play a trump card when the No First Blood option was enabled.
- Fixed incorrect messaging when the Screw The Dealer option was enabled and it was not the Human was not the dealer.
- Fixed logic in computer deciding to go alone.

Functional:
- Sped up the base game play.
- Can now tap anywhere outside the menu panel to close the menu.
- Added information buttons to the menu to explain each of the play options.
- Added switch to enable/disable the new visual helpers.
- Added new play option to the Game Options pack available for purchase: No Trump Till Broken. If you have already bought the Game Options pack, this is a free addition!
- Added new option to set the playing speed.
- Tweaked computers player logic for determining first card to play.

Cosmetic:
- Added warning text to menu stating a new game is started when changing playing options.
- Changed background color of icon and play area to a brighter/cheerier green.
- Added visual indicators showing who the current player is.
- Added visual indicators next to each player showing if they are the dealer and/or called trump.
