Made some performance improvements when you’re hanging out in the app. Also we’re 99.7% certain we fixed a bug that would prevent content from loading even if you reinstalled the app. If this was happening to you, a reinstall after this update should finally fix the issue (and we’re so sorry to even have to ask). (And if you are part of the unlucky 0.3% with a still broken app, well, we’re definitely sorry for that too.)

~Tildes~ no longer show up in place of bullet points in reviews. If you're in light mode (why, first of all), then you can confidently search and your text won't go missing (seriously, just switch to dark mode). And the Deals tab no longer disappears after you change video settings.

Tis the season for shopping! Which is easier to do now that Buy buttons show up reliably on articles and galleries so you can snag those killer Black Friday deals. We also corrected image view so you can now see them fullscreen and rotate for a better view on your device.

We love GIFs. You love GIFs. We made them run faster on the app for us all to enjoy. Now we just need to settle our office debate, is it pronounced GIF or JIF?

This update is all about trying to help you save some $$$. We've added a Siri Shortcut for "CNET Deals." Ask Siri for CNET Deals and it’ll read out the top deal and show off the top deals of the day. Basically, it’s even easier to save some cash, which is a big win for all. And guess what? You can now endlessly scroll through all the best deals we’ve found. YEP! As part of a continued effort to add more personalization, the News section will now show more items related to interests you've selected. If you're looking at the latest feed of stories, those which correspond to topics you like will have labels to let you know that.
