The app now includes a live stream from the latest issue - plus you can consume content from every issue how you want, either listening or reading.
Members can choose to read every issue either in the traditional replica 'magazine view', or via the new digitally-optimised format, which offers a beautiful mobile reading experience with added audio function.
PLUS: you can access all of the previous Country Walking issues in our new Archive feature.
We’ve also added an option for the app to be changed to Dark Mode.

On this occasion, we've made some changes to improve the overall user experience – including bug fixes and the integration of a new analytics tool called Firebase, which allows us to anonymously track how the app is being used.
For more information on Firebase and how we use it, please go into the app’s menu and select ‘Privacy Policy’.
If there’s anything you’re not comfortable with, don’t worry, you have the option of opting out completely.

Plus we’re ironed out a few minor bugs that were affecting a small minority of users. Please note though that this update means the app won’t work as well on older devices – if you’re using an iPad 2, iPad Mini 1 or iPhone 5 or before, you might have difficulty running the app after installing this update.
